Days before Christmas, a tragic calamity struck thePhilippines. Typhoon Sendong brought heavy rains that caused landslides and floods inMindanao. Reports say that the storm claimed the lives of more than 900 people. The cities of Cagayan de Oro and Iligan were the most affected.
