Hiring of Filipino Nurses to Sweden May Be Possible

The result of a meeting between Vice President Jejomar Binay and Swedish officials that was held last month may open job opportunities for Filipino nurses in Sweden.

Binay talked to the Speaker of Parliament Per Westerberg and discussed the issues concerning Filipinos who are working and living in Sweden.

This was taken from a press release that was published in the official website of the Vice President, “The Speaker of Parliament also ‘favorably viewed’ the suggestion to ‘explore closer cooperation in the health sector,’ including the possible employment of Filipino nurses in Sweden.”

Filipina Nurse in US Inherited Millions

A 60-year old Filipina nurse working in America as a private duty nurse inherited USD33 million from her employer which happens to be the heiress of one of America’s great fortunes.

Hadassah Peri, now a US immigrant served as the private nurse of Huguette Clark, who is the daughter of a US senator and a copper mining tycoon. Clark is said to have a mansion in New York with 121 rooms and inherited all hi father’s wealth when it died.
