The Labor Department will hold the “Kalayaan 2013 Job Fair” to celebrate 115^th anniversary of the Philippine Independence. It will be on June 12, 2013 from 8:00am to 4:00pm at South Drive, Luneta Park, Manila. It carries the theme, “Kalayaan:  Ambagan Tungo Sa Malawakang Kaunlaran.” 

Attendees can expect 85 local companies and 25 overseas recruitment agencies to participate in the event. More than 60,000 job openings will be offered.

Job Description:

• Working as an effective and co-operative member of a team
• Assessing evidential applications while exercising fair and reasonable judgement
• Working in a positive way with all people of differing cultural backgrounds, gender and abilities, exemplifying excellent customer service skills
• Working effectively without direct supervision, and managing and organising fluctuating workloads
• Working with different software packages e.g. Word, Excel or good keyboard skills
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is an advantage
