Au Pair Deployment To European Countries Now Allowed

Filipinos who wants to work in selected European countries as au pairs can freely do so now that the deployment ban that was imposed by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) thirteen years ago is finally lifted.

Manalili informed that the POEA Governing Board has issued three different resolutions that would lift the deployment ban to three European countries, Switzerland, Norway and Denmark. The ban was lifted because the said countries agreed to follow the requirements set by the Philippine government regarding the deployment of au pairs and guaranteed that they would protect their hired workers.

Switzerland Is Hiring Filipino Caregivers

Switzerland, a country with stable, modern and one of the most capitalist economies in the world and one of Europe’s wealthiest country is in need of Filipino Au Pairs to look after the children of Swiss employer as well as provide light housekeeping.

Interested applicants can apply through agency only, please be advice that direct or name hiring of Filipino au pairs is strictly prohibited since the Swiss Federal Office of Migration (FOM) said that au pairs can be recruited only through individuals duly authorized by FOM. Read more.
