An establishment that would offer great programs and services to Filipino seamen was recently opened in SM Manila – the Seafarers’ Center. It was created through the joint effort and resources of Joint Manning Group (JMG) and SM Supermalls.
The Seafarers’ Center promise to make the lives of Pinoy seamen and their families better by offering programs and services that would promote profitable job opportunities, develops human resources, and protect the welfare of the sea-based workers. The services available at the center would have goals that are aligned with that of the DOLE’s objectives.
Some of the services that are available at the Seafarer Center are the following: on-line job search, hiring events, and career talks; health management; family management; wealth management; business opportunities; pasalubong, vacation services and entertainment.
