Immigration Officer

Chinese Language proficiency required

Qualifications:

  • Fluency in Mandarin Chinese
    Working as an effective and co-operative member of a team;
    Assessing evidential applications while exercising fair and reasonable judgement;
    Working in a positive way with all people of differing cultural backgrounds, gender and abilities, exemplifying excellent customer service skills;
    Working effectively without direct supervision, and managing and organising fluctuating workloads.
    Working with different software packages e.g. Word, Excel or good keyboard skills.
  • Preference will be given to applicants who are able to provide a proven direct work experience, demonstrate successful customer service and decision making skills, excellent writing and communication, and work well in a team environment. Strong consideration is also placed upon any previous work or life experiences inNew Zealand.

The salary is commensurate with the Manila Salary Scale. The Immigration Officer annual salary scale range is from PHP559,245 (80% competent) to PHP699,056 (100% competent) to PHP838,867. Placement for new recruits is usually between 80-100% of the band depending on experience.

Administrative Support Officer

12 month temporary contract 

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the following qualities:

  • Communicate effectively and build relationships with a wide range of audiences
  • Operate IT systems and software including MS Office
  • Performing a range of tasks under competing demands with minimum supervision
  • Handle difficult customer service situations with a positive response
  • Work with individuals to indentify their needs and concerns, and offer appropriate support.
  • An understanding of financial management processes and practice
  • Preference will be given to applicants who are able to provide a proven direct work experience, demonstrate successful customer service and decision making skills, excellent writing and communication, and work well in a team environment.

This is only a temporary contract for 12 months. Subsequent contract renewals will be subject to business needs. The salary is commensurate with the INZ Manila Salary Scale. The Administrative Support Officer annual salary scale range is from PHP457,258 to PHP571,573 (100% competent) to PHP685,888.
Placement for new recruits is usually between 80-100% of the band depending on experience.
