How To Work in United Kingdom

The following jobs are still in demand in UK: healthcare workers, environmental specialists, information technology and scientist, telecoms specialists, marketing executives, teachers, and social care personnel

However, not all who want to wok in UK can fulfill their dream. The competition is stiff not only with fellow Filipino workers but also with workers of other nationalities. To be able to enter UK, qualified applicants need to go through the points based system that is being implemented by the Borders and Immigration System since 2008. Under this system, all foreigners who wish to enter UK are required to undergo a managed immigration program with a five-tier system.

    good maam ako po isang caregiver graduate.nagsend po ako ng message s kanyang yahoo messanger at gus2 ko pong mag-aply s kanya as live-in nanny bound to UK. nkita ko kc s internet ung offer nya n work.at noong nagsend ako n message n gusto kung mag-aply nagresponds nmn po sya.ito po ba totoo or scam lang .noong month of may ako nag-aply s kanya .hanggang ngayon kahit hindi kona sya ni reply ask nya parin ako kung intresado pa ba daw ako.i’m waitng for your advice maam.thank you.Perla Gultiano of Cavite

    hi perla. hindi ko maga-guarantee na legal ang job offer ng iyong kausap sa ym. mas maganda kung ipapa-check mo sa POEA ang status ng employer mo sa kanila. mas maganda din kasi na kahit name-hire ay dumaan ka pa din sa POEA procedures para legal OFW ka sa ibang bansa. maging maingat lalo na kung hihingan ka ng iyong kausap ng bayad para sa pag-process ng iyong papers. you can call POEA at 722-1144 or 722-1155.
