Work in USA: 150 Nurses Needed

To all Filipino nurses who are NCLEX and IELTS passers who have always wanted to work in America, here is your chance to fulfill your dream. An advertisement posted by a POEA-licensed agency, Placewell International Services Corporation, said that they are recruiting 150 registered nurses to be deployed in various US states.

The employer from America will conduct orientation, briefing and on the spot contract signing on the following dates: February 22, Monday and February 23, Tuesday. The orientation schedule will happen at 10 am and 2 pm. There will be a contract signing for selected applicants after. Read more.

Filipinos who want to work and live in New Zealand should be aware that there are several pathways they can take to achieve their aim. The best options available for you would depend on your qualifications, status, work experience, skills and capital.

The said factors would determine which of the available pathways to enter New Zealand you can take. You can enter via the Skilled Migrant Category which is points based, as a Work Visa Permit which is not points based, via Active Investment, as an Entreprenuer, or thru a family member. Do Not Apply As a Mushroom Picker in Poland

If you are one of the many Filipino workers who want to work abroad and see an opportunity to work in Poland as a mushroom picker attractive, think again. The Philippine Embassy in Poland recently issued an advisory regarding this job offer and discouraging Filipinos to apply for this post because of the reports that mushroom pickers on the said country suffer from inhumane working conditions.

In connection with the warning, the Philippine Embassy in Poland also asked the Philippine Overseas Employment Agency (POEA) to stop from issuing clearances to the said job opening. Read more.

Government Warned About Job Offers in UK &Germany

The idea of working overseas especially in European countries such as United Kingdom (UK) and Germany sounds very attractive for Filipinos who are seeking for greener pastures. For them working abroad is synonymous to receiving bigger paycheck and living a comfortable life. Unfortunately, your dream and enthusiasm to start a new life abroad can be used by swindlers.

In connection with this, the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) recently issued an advisory reminding applicant to first verify the availability of job orders inUnited Kingdom (UK) through their website. Physical Therapists Are In Demand in USA

The demand for healthcare professionals in United States of America (USA) specifically physical therapists is increasing. The need to hire foreign healthcare workers is mainly caused by the aging population in America. In fact the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics expects a surge in the deployment of physical therapist between 2006 and 2017.

A report on available job orders at POEA website confirms the various approved job orders for Physical therapist in different countries: http://www.poea.gov.ph/cgi-bin/JobVacancies/PosJobsResult.asp.
