Hotline for Caregivers in Canada

Caregivers or nannies in Canada can seek instant help or advice through the toll-free hotline for caregivers set up by the provincial government of Toronto, Canada. They can call hotline number: 1-866-372-3247, to be informed of their rights under Ontario’s provincial labor law or to report cases of abuse and exploitation.

Hotline Service for Local and Overseas Filipino Workers

Filipino workers both in the Philippines and abroad can now seek immediate assistance regarding employment such as job opportunities, advisories, services available to them etc. as the Department of Labor and Employment together with Globe Telecom launches a hotline service for them.

The program started last May 1 as part of the Labor Day Celebration this year. Last May 1, the secretary of DOLE, Marianito Roque and Globe Telecom launched the 3-way Asenso Connect service which will work using three communication channels—via the DOLE 2917 Hotline, 2910 SMS facility, and the www.dole2917.com.ph website.
