The OFW Family Club (OFWFC), presents K.I.N.A.L.A.S.A.N. or Kababaihang Iniwan NA ng LAlaking Sumama SA ibang Nililiyag, which aims to give recognition to the wives and mothers of OFWs who raise their children as virtual single parents.
This March, also known as International Women’s Month, the OFWFC will commemorate these women and those who are in need of livelihood/business opportunities and guidance on managing funds from remittances with a major event.
With the theme, “Babae–Pamilya Mo Ipaglaban Mo,” the event will offer counseling, character development seminars, livelihood training, free medical/dental/legal consultation, exhibit booths, and entertainment.
The gathering will take place at Hobbies of Asia, Macapagal Highway, on Saturday, March 28 (from 12 p.m.) and will be hosted by KBP Dove award-winning tandem Marvin & Hannah, plus women’s advocates and female icons like Sen. Loren Legarda and Susan “Toots” Ople, founder of the Blas Ople Policy Center. The event is open to the public and welcomes anyone looking to support the cause.
