     I suggest you apply directly not in the third party. Find a employer whose in Canada. And submit all the requirements to Canadian Embassy. The processing of application today is FAST. They received my application this Feb 2008 and i received a letter from embassy this Sept 2008 to take my Speaktest.
     Then, after two weeks i will receive a result of my speaktest if i passed the speaktest and i f i passed, there is Medical Slip. After that, wait for 2-3 mos if you are VISA granted.

     If you have relatives or friends whose working or living in Canada, ask them to help you and find employer or sponsor.

     1. How and where can I apply to Canada? I tried online agency going to Canada but it is too long to wait and very costly. I really wanted to work and immigrate to Canada with my family and i am trying since last year.      i higly appreciate the initiative of our government for us OFWs to have a chance to work and probably live in Canada, however, i think it would be best if they could include a list of companies that requires such OFWs as their employee with their Job vacancies and Requirements also with instructions how or to whom should we contact to as well.      POEA not recruiting nor accepting applications for Canada
     The Canada provinces of Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Alberta, and British Columbia which have signed a memorandum of agreement with the Department of Labor and Employment are recruiting Filipino workers through licensed recruitment agencies and not through POEA.
     Applicants may submit their applications to recruitment agencies with approved job orders from Canadian employers. Recruitment agencies are not allowed to collect placement fees from workers bound for Canada.
