Job Opportunities in West Australia

The City of Perth, capital of Western Australia is now experiencing a boom in their construction and mining industry. To accomplish the numerous infrastructure projects, Perth needs to recruit foreign workers.

DBP, Smart Launches OFW I-Net Negosyo Program

Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) in partnership with Smart Communications has launched a livelihood program for OFW’s and their family. Called OFW I-net Negosyo Program, the package aims to provide a small business to OFW’s so that they have something to look forward to when they return. Smart Communication will provide the OFW family with a Smart Bro Business-in-a-Box package. DBP on the other hand will provide the financing for the OFW.

The OFW I-net package includes:

  • Brand new Pentium 4 3.0 personal desktop PC
  • 1 year unlimited Smart Bro Internet connection
  • Smart load retailer kit with Php 500 worth of load

45 Filipino Engineers to Be Hired by a Company in Spain

Tecnicas Reunicas, S.A (TRSA), the largest engineering and construction company in Spain asked the permission of Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) in Madrid to hire 45 Filipino engineers from the Philippines.

The Saudi Basic Industries (SABIC) recently awarded the company the construction of the phenolics facilities project which will be implemented by Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Co. in Al-Jubail. The TRSA will facilitate the construction, engineering design, procurement, and the management of the project.

DOLE Mega Jobs and Livelihood Fair
